Spring Is In The Air!
Well, it’s that time of year again. When the snow starts melting, the Sun starts shining, the mud starts appearing and the pets start shedding their Winter coats which leads to monster muddy messes, which of course means Spring is in the air and so is Spring Cleaning!
Mud… more mud… and even more MUD!
That’s how it all starts for me anyway. 2 dogs + 2 kids + a super muddy-swampy backyard = MUD SEASON! It’s inevitable, every year, I feel like the amount of mud gets worse and worse… every year. So, my Spring Cleaning starts when the first sign of mud starts showing its dirty, dirty face! Of course, the Sun Shining and the fresh Spring breeze helps put me into a cleaning mood. Thank goodness. Otherwise… I may not ever do it! PS: Mud is meant for our faces during a lovely, relaxing, Spa Day! Nowhere else!
I will take you through my simple Spring Cleaning Checklist that will help make things easier and that way you’re not spending all of your spare time cleaning and instead outside enjoying the fresh Spring Air!
How Do You Clean:
I don’t know about you but, I tend to flip-flop when I clean my house. I pretty much stick to the Zone Cleaning method. For more information on how to Zone Clean – check out one of my favorite Youtubers “How Jen Does it” but sometimes, I just spend the day (6-8 hours) cleaning the whole house when I’m in a “cleaning mood” – you know what I mean… you do it too. Doesn’t everyone?!
But… whether you’re a Zone Cleaner or an All Day Cleaner – the dreaded Spring Cleaning, still must happen! Sadly, there isn’t a magic Cleaning Fairy that can come in the middle of the night and clean for us. Over the years I’ve learned what methods work, what doesn’t work, and what spaces we always forget to clean! I’ve been using this current Spring Cleaning Checklist for the last few years, and I do believe it works! So, why don’t you check it out and let me know what you think! Did it help make cleaning a little bit easier?
